Then sometime, right around the end of Aug or so, i look forward to a break. Plants aren't in their prime, the garden needs to be cleaned out, and i look forward to days inside, with candles, and music, sewing and scrap booking. I don't mind the rain and overcast skies. Rather, it is a reprieve from the sunshine and its energy that it seems to infuse in me. I feel more melancholy, more laid back and preparing for those soon-to -come days of being snowed in, and giving the children warm cocoa with marshmallows floating on top.
For now, i will enjoy today. I have my wonderful wonderful husband, my sweet children, my family, my friends, and a cozy house. I have Jesus; He is all i need to enjoy each day to the fullest. And i want to do that with all my heart. I would love my obituary to say "lived each day as though she had not another to live". Wouldn't you?
Ok, so this post is random, again. I guess i am predictably random:)
you capture my feelings of fall to a "t"...thanks for sharing.
