water hole, grocery store, and partings....

Jess took all the children, except the babies, to see where the ladies haul water from. We take running water so very for granted. I am amazed at how hard these "water ladies" work to bring us water. And to easily, we forget.

From the "water hole" to the home here,
there is about a 30 min walk.

On Sunday evening, Amy, Jessica, and I decided
to make the children choc covered ritz crackers.
THEY LOVED THEM:)

Rose wanted to practice counting money,
so we set up a "store " for her. Jess , Jessica, and I
took turns "shopping" with our "children". Rose
was more than tickled.

I had more pics i wanted to upload, but the computer
is refusing:) Maybe later:)

I can hardly believe this is our last night here. I am sad to
leave; albeit ready to see my family and friends again.
We have enjoyed our time here soo very much. God has been so
good to us, and it has been a time of stretching and growth for me.
AND, precious precious time for us as a family, complete with
our sweet little Karlee Jo. When we leave, we leave a very
dear part of our heart here... a precious little girl who is our daughter and
sister. The thought makes me want to cry. But God knows. And in His time
He will bring us all together again. Hopefully, VERY SOON.

  1. Praying for you as you part from your daughter. I know that it was the hardest thing ever, every time I had to leave Ava. I have tears thinking about those days, but you are right, God knows the timing and He is Good, All the Time!!! Luv you!
