our life this week……

We are enjoying our time here so much. Except for the fact that we don’t have the children along; we miss them!

Early Sunday morning we made a trip back to the mountains to see Rhonda. The trail has not gotten any less steep, the drop-offs any less scary. But then, neither have the mountains changed in their beauty, the trees less lush, or the people here less happy/needy/friendly. The trip back is grueling. Steep, rough and dusty. I was glad to ride on the back of the Scout. Kaitlyn bounced along in the moby… taking each bounce so well she actually fell asleep alot of the way.

We quite enjoyed the time with Rhonda’s children.It was so good to see them again. Rhonda and I enjoyed catching up as well. On Monday afternoon we went out to see Dons land. Beautiful view!! We enjoyed walking along the side of the mountain, discussing different ideas about their house, ect.

Lunch at the beach… Yesterday we spent a day at the beach. It was a super fun day.. Dons needed the time away, and we were certaintly happy to join them! Karlee loved the sand and water, Karole and i enjoyed the sun, the rest enjoyed the waves, and we all enjoyed the opportunity to be together.

We have gotten to do so many fun things with Dons; this was another great day of another making of memories.

I know many of you are wondering about our meeting with the lawyer. We are hoping that will happen today. We are asking God for miracles.. but we know that no matter what, He is in control, and we can trust Him. We choose todo that, by faith.
