I often go back into our picture files, and wonder at how quickly the little people in this house are growing. Why does time go so slow when you are waiting for them to make their appearance, and then fast forward and before you realize it they are walking and talking, and thinking about "getting tools to fix those houses in Haiti". Recently we were the car when one of them said, "Daddy, you're a good Dad". I saw tears in Jess's eyes... Sometimes it feels like you pour everything into these precious lives...you teach, you train, you remind them over and over about saying "please" and "thank you", "excuse me" and "I'm sorry" and when they really start coming out with those things, ON THEIR OWN, you know that its all worth it, and you keep pressing on.
Totally precious!! And yes, I whole heartedly agree...you and Jess are wonderful parents. Parents that want what is best for thier little ones. God bless you for it!! Keep pressing on...the fun is just beginning!! Love you lots my friend!!
